Damien Kulash, the singer of OK GO has overthrown their record company when he wrote a plea in the New York Times to stop the ban on embedding their videos. Read it here: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/20/opinion/20kulash.html
He maintains that most of their fame came from people spreading their video around from YouTube (which is true, and which they posted on YouTube themselves without permission from their record company.)
Rube Goldberg (the maker of the domino effect scenerios using objects that efect eachother and cause new things to happen) is probably weeping at glory that is OK GO's latest video "This too shall pass."
